Hi everyone! Happy weekend.
What if I told you….. there was no such thing as failure. What if I told you that you could live in a world where failure, or failing at anything, was not a thing?

Let’s look at some definitions:
- Failure “A lack of success”.
- Feedback “information which is used as a basis for improvement.”

Life is all about the words you use, the language you live by. Your thoughts. Failure is just feedback.
When we remove the concept of failure from our lives – granted, you may not necessarily always do things brilliantly at the first attempt, but you can at least come away from that activity thinking about how you can improve for next time. You’ve just done the activity and it wasn’t to your satisfaction. So, what would you do differently next time?
It may mean waiting until tomorrow. It may mean waiting until next week. Or maybe you can have another go in 5 minutes? Stop, have a breather. Put the kettle on. And have another try. You will remember what aspects didn’t go as well as you wanted the previous time, and you can change your approach.

Even if you don’t do it perfectly the second time, you can keep trying! And when you finally do the task to your satisfaction, remember any feelings of frustration or annoyance that you felt the first time.
How do you feel now? You will have learned so much during that process, and you’ll now know how to do that task well at the first time of asking.
That first attempt where you felt annoyed and frustrated is now ancient history – keep that in mind each time you use feedback to improve at something.

To quote the awesome Life Coach Jen Sincero: “The only failure is quitting. Everything else is just gathering information”
And, if you want more where that came from, grab a copy of her self-help book “How To Be A Badass”, I’ve just finished it and I can confirm that Jen is an inspiring lady.
So that’s all for today! I hope you have a great weekend. As usual, we’d love to hear from you via the usual channels.
